1. Privacy-First Architecture

pqrt.org is designed as a lightweight, privacy-respecting discussion platform. All static resources (fonts, stylesheets, scripts) are hosted locally on our servers so your browser does not leak tracking requests to third-party CDNs while reading threads.

2. Anonymous Posting & Cryptographic Hashes

You may browse and post on pqrt.org anonymously without creating an account:

• When you post anonymously, we do not display your IP address publicly.
• Instead, our system computes a one-way cryptographic salted SHA-256 hash (`ip_hash`) to generate a per-thread 8-character Poster ID (e.g., ID: a4f91c2b) and to enforce anti-spam rate limits and abuse bans.
• Optional Tripcodes (Name#secret) are hashed one-way using SHA-256; your secret key is never stored.

3. Optional VIP Google Sign-In

If you voluntarily choose to sign in via Google OAuth to claim a persistent display name, custom avatar, and post editing capabilities, we store your email address, chosen display name, and avatar image path. Your raw email address is never displayed publicly in HTML source code (public profile URLs use encoded identifiers).

4. Law Enforcement & Illegal Content Exceptions

While we respect user anonymity for lawful speech and market/tech discussions, anonymity is never a shield for illegal activity. In cases involving Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), severe unlawful threats, or valid legal process, we reserve the right to share technical logs and network identifiers with competent law enforcement authorities.
